- ½ C fresh blueberries
- 1 small fresh lemon
- 1 scoop Angel Food Cake protein powder
- 1 Lemon Meringue Flex Flavors
- 1 Blueberry Sky Flex Flavors
- 1 C water
- 1 C ice (2 C for fluff)
Grate lemon zest with a microplane or fine grater and set aside. Squeeze juice from the lemon into a small saute pan and add blueberries. Cook berries over medium-high heat, swirling pan. Once berries start to burst, remove from heat and set aside.
In a blender or food processor, combine Devotion Angel Food Cake protein powder with Flex Flavors, lemon zest (reserving some for garnish, if desired), water and ice (1 C for shake, 2 C for fluff), blending until desired consistency is reached. Pour ¾ of shake into large glass, leaving about ¼ of the shake in blender.
Add blueberries to blender and blend until no large bits of berry remain. Pour blueberry shake mixture into the glass and use a long-handled spoon or straw to swirl with lemon portion of shake.

Notes: While this recipe calls for Lemon Meringue and Blueberry Sky Flex Flavors, feel free to substitute other flavors, based on availability or personal preference. Italian Almond Cookie or Coconut Biscotti pair well with blueberries, as do other fruit flavors like Bananas Foster, Peach Cobbler or Razzmatazz. For those who prefer, consider swapping out the blueberries with another fruit. Frozen fruit (defrosted) may also be used if fresh is not available.
