Gingerbread Protein Waffle Recipe

Gingerbread Houses eat your heart out! Whey Too Sweet has has brought the warm, holiday flavor to the breakfast table. They've also pumped them up with some Devotion Angel Food Cake. So now you can "Have Your Shake and Eat It Too".

Ingredients:

Recipe works best in a Belgian rotating waffler

  • 1 large mashed, ripe banana
  • 1 egg white, whipped until soft peaks form
  • 1 whole extra large egg
  • 1 tablespoon low-fat milk
  • 2 heaping tablespoons ground flax meal
  • 2 scoops Devotion Angel Food Cake Protein Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 rounded Teaspoon Ground Dried Ginger
  • 1/4 rounded teaspoon Ground Clove
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Strap Molasses
  • 1 Teaspoon Coconut Nectar or liquid sweetener of choice (optional)

Method: Combine mashed banana, whole egg, flax, milk, vanilla, protein and spices. Fold in whipped egg white keeping it fluffy and light as you fold. This recipe makes 1 whole Waffle and has enough left for a mini Waffle. (For the cook to taste *wink)
