- ½ C fresh or frozen tart cherries
- 1 scoop Angel Food Cake protein powder
- 1 Italian Almond Cookie Flex Flavor
- 1 C water
- 1 C ice (2 C for fluff)
- Optional: 1 TBSP Almond Butter
For fresh cherries, wash and remove pits. Heat a small saute pan over medium-high heat and add cherries to pan. Swirl pan to keep cherries from sticking. Continue to cook until cherries soften, then set aside.
In a blender or food processor, combine Devotion Angel Food Cake protein powder with Italian Almond Cookie Flex Flavor, water and ice (1 C for shake, 2 C for fluff), and optional almond butter, blending until desired consistency is reached. Pour ⅔-¾ of shake into large glass, keeping remainder of shake in blender.
Add cherries to reserved shake and blend until no large bits of cherry remain. Pour cherry shake mixture into the glass and use a long-handled spoon to swirl with almond portion of shake.

Notes: While this recipe calls for Italian Almond Cookie Flex Flavors, feel free to substitute one or more other flavors, based on availability or personal preference. Peanut Butter Crunch, Bananas Foster, Coconut Biscotti, Lemon Meringue or Creme Brulee are all delicious with cherries. For those who prefer, consider swapping out the cherries with another fruit.
